BBC News Persian television channel is celebrating its 15th anniversary on the air.
On Sunday, January 14, 2024, the anniversary day, the special program “15 Years with Persian Television'' will highlight the channel's obligation to inform and entertain its viewers, and what it has delivered over the past 15 years. BBC Persian TV has entered the Persian media landscape with a combination of a dynamic, modern look and sound, live news reporting from around the world, trademark in-depth analysis and insight, and a wealth of content. Rosita Lotfi, head of programming for BBC World Service Persian and Arabic channels, looks back on the launch of his BBC Persian TV 15 years ago.

They discuss the editorial approach that guides the work of the service's journalists, who are banned from entering the country from Iran, and how social media helps them engage with audiences in Iran and around the world and verify the content of their news.
