CM insists on unwavering police morale amidst difficulties

Peshawar:

The interim chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Attorney General Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, highlighted the severe shortage of about 56,000 security personnel ahead of the impending general elections.

He stressed that this concern had been raised with the federal government. Despite the state's current financial constraints, including delays in receiving its share from the federal government, the CM assured that all possible efforts are being made to strengthen the police force.

He acknowledged the rich history of sacrifices made by the KP Police and expressed pride in the dedication, courage and courage shown by the police personnel.

Speaking at the police headquarters during his visit to the police front lines in Peshawar, he praised the unparalleled and heroic fight of the police against terrorism. He affirmed the unwavering support of the government and the entire nation for joint efforts to eradicate this menace.

Undeterred by the dastardly attack, the CM asserted that the morale of the police remains resolute and they are ready to make sacrifices for the nation. He said that maintaining law and order is the top priority of the caretaker state government and that all necessary steps will be taken to strengthen the police force, with special attention to meeting police requirements on priority. He emphasized that he guarantees. In addition, he promised to arrange special funds for the treatment of injured police officers and ensure their overall well-being.

During his visit, the CM paid homage to the police martyrs' memorial and prayed for eternal peace. They also visited the Data Analysis Division and received an explanation of the division's functions and related matters.

In response to questions about the general election, he emphasized the finality of decisions by courts and election commissions. Regardless of their decision, he promised full support from the state government for implementation.
